St. Paul’s Church Organ In Tartu features Aare-Paul Lattik performing music by French composers. This is the third recording of the Estonian Organ Series from APSoon Recordings. The album was recorded at St Paul’s Church in Tartu.

It is also worth noting the fact that the Church Organ is very new. It was built in 2015 by the German company Paschen Kiel Orgelbau GmbH. The organ thrilled us with its deep and spiritual sound.

With this author’s record, Andres Uibo presents his organ creations from 1993 – 2005, through which the musician known mainly as an organist, organ professor and producer also shows himself as a talented composer.
Uibo’s work is characterized by elaborateness, simplicity in both motivic and harmonic terms and purposeful formal dramaturgy.
The recording was made in Andres Uibo’s so-called home church – Niguliste, which is the only church in Estonia that gives out the size of a cathedral.
The recording appears in the series Estonian organs.
