Album presentation in St. Nicholas Church

On 14.04.2023, the presentation of the second vinyl record in the series – the organ of the Niguliste church, which is part of the “Estonian organs” series, took place in the Niguliste museum.

The CD features Andres Uibo’s work from the series: ”Apocalyptic Symphony”. In addition to the vinyl record, there is an 8-page booklet hidden in the record sleeve, which describes the attractions and history of the museum.

An impressive group of friends who loved organ music had come to the album launch. Tarmo Saaret, the director of the museum, Priit Kuulberg, the sound director, and Endel Apsalon, the author of the album’s design photos, gave speeches. Andres Uibo let the organ sound on the profound piece ”Uus Jeruusalem”.

Those who wished could buy records with autographs, and the production company APSoon OÜ made a preliminary agreement with some well-known guests for new recordings to take place. St. John and Charles Church in Tallinn and St. Paul’s Church in Tartu are waiting in line. According to the current plans, two more records of the “Eesti Orelid” series should be released this year. Which ones are currently still a mystery.
